Los Muertos Beach (or Playa Los Muertos in Spanish, translated as "Deadman's Beach") is the most well-known and most popular and the most visited beach in Puerto Vallarta. It is in the Romantic Zone (Old Town Vallarta) just south of the Malecon. It is known to be a gay-friendly beach and is also very popular among families. Locals and visitors from around Mexico come to enjoy this beach.
